Arizona City Fire District Association



The Association was formed many years ago by the members of the Arizona City Fire Department to do fund raising activates to support community projects. Recently the association has extended its membership to include community members as well as members of the fire department to help with fund raising concerns of the Association to support the community.


            The Fire District in conjunction with the Association over the years have taken care of different community activities such as the July 4th fire works, the visit by Santa with goodie bags each December at the community tree lighting activity and maintaining the community street decorations. Funds for these activities are raised by donations from the businesses and community members each year. For example it takes $8,000.00 to put on the fireworks show each year. We sponsor the “adopt a family program” at Christmas each year to help families in need.


            Some of the fund raisers that are held to support the community projects are an annual July 4th golf tournament, cooking bratwurst and hamburgers at the July 4th fire works show, carwashes and a pancake breakfasts.


            The Association meetings are held the first Monday of each Month at 6pm. The Association is open to new fund raising ideas and invite community members to join us in our efforts to better serve the community of Arizona City.
